Takin a Stroll Down Memory Lane...

I'm jumpin on board!

1. As a comment on my blog, write about a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next (if you choose to), re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.(Even if you don't want to re-post this on your blog, leave a comment anyway.)

We have so many wonderful memories Krista! Some of my favorites were things with Choralaires. The bus trip after you had sprained your ankle and it was huge. We played that game and someone ditched the paper that I wrote on about your fat ankle. I still wonder who that was. It's always fun singing with you---especially when we jam on the guitars. Love ya!

I know we haven't known each other for very long, but the friday mornings for an hour that we do spend talking, I will always remember you for wanting to wear my engagement ring just so I could see how sparklely it is from across the room on someone else's finger. Awwww, memories!

I remember the first time I met you and that trip to Cedar City in the back of Faye's little Honda hatchback that night. That was a fun weekend. Or when you and I drove to Idaho for Heidi's wedding.

What??? Someone else shared beer battered fries from the hospital cafeteria with you? Shoot...
Well digg we go way back to the time I used to pull my hair and bangs back in a clip and you said I looked like I had motorcycle head. aw - fun times. Or when you would would take time out to specifically pick on me in Sophomore Biology. Or when we were butter-creamers "Thank you whoever you are!!!!" Or that time you got mad because the music was too loud in the car on the way to the cabin, or when we went to vegas and we got stuck in the middle of all those people and you had a panic attack and that huge guy saved you.
Shoot.. should I go on???

Or that time we were in cali and you had pizza AND a salad, or when we went to Seattle to meet that guy but then you met another guy and he took us to the ocean. Or when we went to DC and that really skinny waiter from Cheesecake factory wanted to hook up with me and you left him my #. Or when we would get our sunday midnight pizzas from smiths and eat them and talk, or when we got massages and you told me the table only had one leg, or when you made me go to church while we were on a trip in cali.... seriously i could still go on.

Hey stranger.......I found you!!!!

Well, lets see, my first memory is of your face staring out Martha's truck window with a big bag of candy in you hand. You were so mean!!!! Making cookies on the big rock in your front yard, going to buy vanilla at Hamblin's to return to the neighbors we borrowed it from and used all of it. I remember sneaking out of the trailer, Kara getting stuck in the neighbors tree while toilet papering, riding our bikes down to meet the guys on bluff at 2 in the morning. Always helping you with your jobs and cleaning your room so that you could come out and play. Moving in with you!!!!

I love you and your whole fam.

Tell Ryan I need to schedule a brawl with him!!!!

That first time we talked at the pool was great. Oh yeah, I do have a probably talking about myself! But I'm so entertaining that it's just hard to stop. Thanks for listening though. I loved singing in the 11th ward choir with you, and when you would direct us. And all the Sunday night parties at yours and Chris's house. Or just whenever I'd show up and want to talk about my life and latest dating drama. Don't worry, I still have dating drama and like to talk about myself :)

Really fun times together!

I think I win for EARLIEST memory of my DEAR friend, tripple K flea!!! A fabulous (yet mean) memory I have of you is when Allison and I were in FIRST GRADE w/ you. Mrs. Provost was our teacher. Allison and I were using markers. You came up and very politely said "can I use your markers?" And we said NO!!! Ohh the meanness! But really - it was Allison's fault. She was the mean one. I was just deathly AFRAID of her and had to follow along for fear of being attacked in the night. :)

For record's sake - Allison's not mean. :) But in first grade - yes.

Krista, I have this memory of going to your house for lunch in high school, and eating cold spaghetti o's. Do you remember that? It is just a random thing, but I always think of that. I always remember you smiling, you have a beautiful smile!

I first have to say that I am LOVING the new setup!

I was so excited when you came to KSS for the first time because at that point I was the only "young" girl. I knew very quickly that you were somone I wanted to be friends with!

To date, I would have to say that the night of our big chat was my favorite. I love hearing about your life and all our similarities. I really feel like if we did spend more time together we could be great friends. So here's to making more memories!

One of the things I miss most is your yummy salsa. Remember all the fun times we had making and eating it while you lived at Christopher Village? Do you still live there? Another one of my favorite memories was when I had Josh Simon drop me off at your house after a date and when I told him I really liked him he said "thank you" Then I came inside and you and carrie just kept laughing at me, like it was the funniest story you had ever heard. I was pretty stupid to like him that much though. I miss all the laughs too!

hi Krusta!!! I love you... I recall calling you at the hospital asking you to page my name over the intercom, because I had just seen Jamie, Sam, Chris etc. coming to see Chad's new baby... So here comes in this very professional great voice, you all know the cute voice K has..."Cheridan Brown please dial 561 or whatever it was! Cheridan Brown please dial 561" So great, hopefully it made me look important that day!! Your the best!! Also the broken foot @ Bearlake rings a bell!! We covered it with a garbage sack, so you could enjoy the water, well later it stunk... and the beautiful toe-touches on the beach...I think there a quite a few FUN FUN memories to talk about! Love ya, Cheridan

If high school wasn’t a black hole in my memory I’d have something more impressive to share. However, I do recall your amazingly contagious laugh! I enjoyed reading your blog- I found it purely by accident. You sound just as fun-loving as I remember.

Ok, so sorry it took me so long to post a comment I have kind of been busy and not on the computer for quite a while. I have to say all the time we spent together at Bunco were the first things that came to mind with me also. The bunco group that I started up here in Garland is no where near being as fun as it was when I played with you guys and Tekla took me in as her daughter so that I could play in the mother/ daughter group.

Oh man...so many memories...our sleep overs, our road trips, picking up guys in Vegas, sneaking into the hot tub in the middle of the night, picking up guys in the hot tub, you laughing at me when I fell off the horse (dumb loose saddle) and cracked my tail bone and had sit on a bag of ice and a pillow the entire car ride from Kentucky to Utah, our all nighters, our midnight Smiths runs for ice cream and/or treats, seeing and laughing together at the look on Jacky and Laura's faces when they woke up to us still being up watching a movie or talking from the night before, you and Laura trying to talk with a southern drawl our entire trip to and from Kentucky and you both thinking you were so great at it ;], you breaking your shoe in the middle of that cave and watching you try to get it out of the mud...so many good times! Thanks for the fun!
